I wasn’t strong enough. Goodbye!
Ji is now signing off.
Hi. We know that it has been almost a month since we updated this page. Our sincere apologies for not keeping you posted and for not giving you signals that we’d be on hiatus. We actually didn’t expect such thing to happen. But hey, we do miss you, our dear followers!
To be honest, we experienced the toughest and the hardest part of our relationship in the previous weeks. Things got complicated. Things never turned out the way they used to be, and things will never be the same again. As the cliché goes, nothing is permanent in this world but change. And unfortunately, we have to place this page on permanent halt.

Where is the ‘good’ in goodbye?
We know that it is quite melodramatic that we’re coming back just to say goodbye. We realized that sometimes it is better to put a period on something that has to end and not just settle on a comma. We would rather keep the specific details behind this sudden adieu and allow us to thank each one of you for being a part of our story.
It is the month of love and we were supposed to celebrate our second year of togetherness but you see, not all love stories have happy endings because true love stories don’t have to end. Indeed, saying goodbye is the saddest part especially if you did not see it coming and you are not that strong enough to let go. Pain is inevitable, but enduring it until it hurts no more would be the best thing to do. Everything happens for a reason, we must say. Ciao, Tumblr!
Off to hear the 7th novena mass. Viva Pit Señor! :)
The first days of January were so hectic and I guess it was just right to start the year being so productive. Hehe. Friends and I thought of looking for a job than to sit idly and wait for the NLE results until February. We applied for positions that would somehow match our credentials and use our capabilities. I couldn’t imagine that first actual job interview felt that way. Yayyy, indescribable. Fortunately, I passed the series of exams and one company offered me a deal, it seemed interesting but I actually have second thoughts. Will give you updates in due time. :)

I planned not to have a planner-turned-diary this year ‘cause it might just remind me of some bad memories, but I realized that good memories always outshine and by the end of the year, I could probably use it as a basis whether or not I’ve become the person I ought to be. So still waiting for someone to give me a 2012 planner. Heeee. Anyone? ;))
January 1, 2012. Our first photo to start the year off right. And oh, say hello to my shorter bangs and the boyfriend’s maamong mukha. Note: Don’t be deceived. Hahaha~ XD The previous year was a roller coaster ride for us but we feel beyond grateful that we are still holding on to each other at this point in time. We also thank from the bottom of our hearts the people who made our 2011 journey worthwhile. We know that there are peaks and valleys waiting for us in this year, so with a smarter mind, braver heart and mightier spirit, we say, let’s get it on! :D
For the past years, light graffiti (others call it light painting) has been one of myfavorite obsessions while using my point and shoot camera. It’s like drawing something with light and creating some shapes in the air. It takes a lot of patience but it’s absolutely fun! But when I already have a better gizmo (and when I lost my penlight - my optimum weapon in making light graffiti), my attention shifted to these colorful bokeh. The Christmas holiday is over and it’s rare to see vibrant colors again. :( Looking forward to create lovelier bokeh using street lights perhaps and of course, having myself back in light painting. ;))
Welcomed the Year of the Water Dragon with so much joy in our hearts! <3 Photo taken after the holy mass and just after the clock hit twelve. Papa was not with us though, but thanks to modern technology and the ways to improve long distance communication are readily available. The boyfriend (pardon his wacky face on a decent photo) had dinner with his family earlier that night then he celebrated the Media Noche with us. We didn’t settle for the booming firecrackers but we had our boisterous laughter to fill the air. Hello Twenty Twelve! :D
Hello there! Surprised? Yes, I’m back!!! :D Firstly, let me greet everyone a Merry Christmas! :) Forgive me for being late again. The boyfriend updated this account and I didn’t know we’ve got a new e-add that’s why Tumblr kept on ignoring me every time I log in. Hmp. D: Anyway, it has been a week since I left Talavera House of Prayer and bade farewell to my beloved batchmates, and I hope to see them real soon ‘cause I’m already missing them to bits. :(

A view from Talavera’s rooftop - Cebu City at night. Photo taken during the total lunar eclipse.
I never thought that our in-house review would yield a great impact in my life. I thought it was just an ordinary-away-from-home-group/self-study, but as days went by, I’ve realized that it was not just about our preparation for the board exam. I know it would take hundreds of pages to share such wonderful 20-day experience so let me just treasure those awesome moments as I leap into another phase of my existence. I hope everyone is having a splendid Christmas vacay. <3
P.S. Let us continue to pray for our brothers and sisters who are hit by the typhoon Sendong in Cagayan de Oro and Iligan. May the spirit of Christ be with them most especially in this tragic event of their lives.

My bags are packed. Am I ready to go?
Will be away for twenty long days and I am sad. :’( It’s hard but I have to, I know it will help me grow as a person. This must be my first-ever serious blogging hiatus, but this isn’t goodbye. I’ll be leaving to find my inner peace as I journey towards achieving my dreams in life. Will miss you, srsly. -Ju
We’ve been the busiest these days - the boyfriend with his class that ends at 8:30 in the evening and me with my successive reviews and exams. Anyhoo, we are both grateful that we still have the chance to update this page in the middle of our busi-ness. ;)
Since we didn’t have the luxury of time on our special day last Sunday, we recouped by going home together most of the days last week. And yesterday was actually another unplanned date or should we say a post monthsary celeb. Hihihi. We really wanted to watch the fourth part of the Twilight Saga but we knew that thousands of Edward-Bella fans would flock to the cinemas so we decided to have it some other time.

Dropped by Mang Inasal near the Basilica (they have the best ambiance among other branches, I would say) to have some sweet treats after having a double-patty burger for snacks. Tried their own version of ice scramble and we both loved it even if it was not pink like the ones sold at the malls/food courts.

Also had their Turon Split with ice cream of different flavors and two sticks of turon. I ate them individually but the boyfriend told me that they should be eaten together to have a more luscious experience. Hahaha and he was right! ;)))) And oh, the syrup was so heavenly! Thanks to our friend, Iris, for suggesting this delight to us. :)

Mandatory photo.
Shared dinner with my family then watched MMK’s One Great Love episode. A blissful Saturday it was! :D On the other note, today is the feast day of Our Lady of the Rule and since we have relatives in Lapu-Lapu City, we’re so blessed to join the merriment with them. Lunch was awesome and it was great playing with my little cousins! ;)) We hope your weekend was also a blast! <3
As much as we want to spend quality time together on this special day, but our scheds were so uncooperative it made me sad. Aw. Just remember that even we’re apart, you’re always in my heart. Hihihi~ Happy 638 Days Ji! <3
P.S. The roses you gave me a month ago didn’t wither. They all remained beautiful.
Grilled some marshies after the announcement of Pacman’s victory over Marquez. People had their numerous comments about the said fight but I remained silent ‘cause I’m not really a fan of boxing, I don’t seem to like beating and stuffs.

Tomorrow is actually our special day and since we both have uncertain scheds, I asked the boyfriend if we could celebrate it today. But hey, he chose Pacman over me! So sad. “The Philippines will be crime-free again, let’s give our full support.” K fine. Hahaha.

Nomnomnom! They melted easily after putting them on the griller so I didn’t bother burning the edges like what we used to see in movies. Not just your ordinary mallows - they’re sweeter and softer! Oh, just perfect for my sweet tooth! ;)
GPOY Tuesday~! Studied my notes at JY Square while waiting for the bestest friend and her boyfriend. Had a double dinner date at Ding Qua Qua, a resto that serves unlimited dimsum goodness. Yayyyy. :) And oh, happy 11-11-11 everyone! The universe is filled with gazillion of wishes! Did you count yourself in? ;) Attended the Friday mass at the Basilica then shared dinner at my place. Off to Mama Mary’s santuary in Simala tomorrow. Have a productive weekend! :D
